Summer Special: Food and Flavor Fundamentals 2024 (all 6 classes) - $595

Part 1 Class Dates:

  • June 13th, 2024 5-9pm (in person at Liv Cook Eat in beautiful Moss Beach, followed by a tasting dinner)

  • June 20th, 2024 (virtual)

  • June 27th, 2024 (virtual)

Part 2 Class Dates:

  • July 11th, 2024 (virtual)

  • July 18th, 2024 (virtual)

  • July 25th, 2024 (virtual)

Course Description:

  • Class 1 (in person): We’ll arrive at Liv Cook Eat Learning Kitchen and go through the Flavor Grid (30 flavors) with Liv. We will learn how and where to find umami and play with flavor combination. Finally we’ll share a meal and learn SSSUBs.

  • Classes 2 & 3 (virtual): We’ll practice using the Flavor Grid and cook with Liv. In class 2 we’ll focus on dressings, and in class 3 we’ll focus on dry rubs and wet seasonings.

  • Class 4 (virtual): All whole grains; more knife practice

  • Class 5 (virtual): Par-boil; Replicate a sauce , one-bowl meals

  • Class 6 (virtual): Stir-fry

  • $545 balance of the class fee is due 2 days in advance
